Angela Vecchiarelli

As a new assistant coach for the Hillsdale College women's basketball program entering the 2020-21 season, Angela Vecchiarelli is a first-time collegiate coach, but an old hand at the sport of basketball.

Vecchiarelli comes to Hillsdale after three years spent playing at Williams College, a Division III program in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She attended Williams College after a successful prep career at Suffield Academy in Suffield, Connecticut, where Vecchiarelli excelled as both an athlete and a student.

During her time with the Ephs, Vecchiarelli served as the program's Team Impact representative, helping organize charity work and events for the team, and after her playing days ended, she spent the winter of 2019-20 as an assistant coach with the women's basketball program at Drury High School in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Vecchiarelli also received significant experience working with the Williams College Sports Information Department as a scouting reporter and color commentator for Field Hockey, experience she used as a production intern working for the Kraft Group with the New England Patriots and New England Revolution, and with the NCAA as a Men's Basketball Intern helping to run the 2019 NCAA College Basketball Academy.

Vecchiarelli graduated from Williams College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and a concentration in Science and Technology Studies.
