Biography

2023: Earned an important spot in Hillsdale’s back-row rotation, plating in 33 of 34 matches and 105 sets…finished third on the team in digs with 237 (2.26 per set) and also contributed 30 service aces…had a strong finish to the season during Hillsdale’s postseason runs, posting six of her eight double-digit dig performances in 2023 in Hillsdale’s final six matches, including a career-high 21 in Hillsdale’s NCAA Tournament match against Ferris State (Nov. 30)…had 17 critical digs in three sets in Hillsdale’s G-MAC semifinal win over rival Findlay (Nov. 17)…put up multiple aces in eight matches, including four matches where she finished with a season-best three…veteran leader who will have a big role to play for the Chargers in 2024.

2022: Carved out a meaningful role off the bench for the Chargers as a back-row player, appearing in 29 of 35 matches and 86 total sets and seeing her role grow as the season went on...posted a career-high 171 digs, sixth most on the team, and proved to be a dangerous server with 23 aces, the third most by any Charger in 2022...set a new career high with 14 digs in her first match of the season against Missouri Western St. at the Rockhurst Invite on Aug. 27, then matched that performance in a Midwest Crossover match with Lewis on Oct 14...finished the season with eight matches with 10 or more digs...posted a career-high five aces in both Hillsdale's sweep of Northern Michigan at the Midwest Crossover (Oct. 15) and in a four-set victory over Walsh on Nov. 4...will get the opportunity to build on her breakthrough in 2023.

2021: Appeared in nine matches for the Chargers as a freshman, recording 13 digs and two services aces...had a season-high five digs in a four-set victory over Kentucky Wesleyan (Sept. 24)...played in two sets and recorded three digs in the Chargers' sweep of Ursuline to conclude the regular season (Nov. 13).

High School: Four-year starter for Byron Center (MI), a top Division 1 program in the Grand Rapids area, a volleyball hotbed...helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back MHSAA District titles in 2019 and 2020, falling in the regional semis to eventual state runner-up Lowell both years...averaged 2.4 digs per set in her high school career...standout on the club volleyball circuit with Michigan Volleyball Academy...top-notch student made the honor roll all four years of high school and was a member of the National Honor Society, as well as member of Byron Center's state qualifying Science Olympiad team in 2019...active volunteer through 4-H and her local church...parents are Brian and Janet Hilliker.
