High School: Impressive back-row prospect from northwest Indiana who will look to continue a long tradition of great players at the position at Hillsdale…playing for Circle City Volleyball Club, she helped her program qualify for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships three years in a row and excelled on the national scene…played her freshman and sophomore years of high school at Northwestern High, leading the Tigers to a program record 25 wins and a 2021 IHSAA 3A sectional title as the team’s top setter, earning All-Hoosier Conference honors…two-sport athlete who also swam for Northwestern as a sophomore, qualifying for the sectional finals…also played for the Academy Boiler Juniors club…excellent student who graduated in the top five percent of her class, and was a member of the National Honors Society Executive Council, as well as the Spanish Honor Society and the Latin Honor Society…active volunteer as a member of 4-H and with the Kokomo Rescue Mission…parents are Stephen and Michelle Byrum.
