Biography

2014: Had a healthy and productive season as a starting outside hitter, delivering a career-high 205 kills for the season…Had a team season-high 19 kills against Ohio Dominican Oct. 23…Had nine double-digit kill matches…Led tea with 17 kills in a GLIAC/GLVC Crossover win over Indianapolis Oct. 18…Ranked third on the team in both kills and digs, showing her two-way improvement…Fourth on the team with a .943 serve receive percentage…Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2013: Played a much bigger role on the court than in her freshman season, starting 7 matches and playing in 36 total sets…Turned in her best performance at the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover with 13 kills against eventual GLVC champion Indianapolis…Totaled 21 kills in two matches against the Greyhounds during the season…Finished the season with 62 kills…Named to GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2012: Limited to eight matches and 19 sets played during the season due to a summer 2012 injury, but made huge strides in her game with a healthy spring 2013 season…Will compete for playing time at outside hitter in the upcoming season…Became one of the team’s most explosive jumpers in the spring…Picked up a career-high nine digs in a 3-2 win over Wayne State Oct. 5.

High School:A three-time All-League player at Arrowhead Christian High School...Earned spots on All-Tournament Teams at the Laguna Blanca Invitational in 2010 and the Team Brentwood Invitational in 2011. Her team won league championships in her first three seasons, and made it to the CIF quarterfinals in 2008 and 2011...A nominee for the Ken Hubbs Award, becoming the first female ever from her high school to be nominated for the award...Award is named after Hubbs, the 1962 National League Rookie of the Year for the Chicago Cubs who passed away at age 22, and is emblematic of citizenship, community involvement, student government and a committment to furthering education...Redlands is just 11 miles away from San Bernardino, where the Chargers played in the 2011 NCAA Division II Elite Eight...Has seven years of club volleyball experience, having most recently played for the Tiger VBC 18s...Away from volleyball, she has traveled extensively, participating on mission trips to the Ukraine and Costa Rica. She was also a member of the student council, the Discipleship Group Leader for girls and was involved with the Trinity Church Youth Group...Born March 15, 1994...Parents are Kent and Laura.
