Josh Mirth Finishes 12th at National Meet, Picks Up All-American Honors

Senior Joshua Mirth finished his career and represented the men's cross country team by competing at the NCAA Division II National Meet in Louisville, Kentucky. He finished 12th, picking up All-American honors.

Mirth ran a strong race as he has all season, finishing with a time of 30:59.2. This finish followed his impressive performance at the regional meet, where he finished with at time of 30:33 and a third-place finish.

Mirth's performance is the best is the highest national finish in Hillsdale Cross Country history. He is also the first men's cross country All-American since Tim Jagielski in 2008.

The course, located outside of Bellarmine University, was cut short due to the rainy conditions that plagued Louisville all weekend.
