Men's Cross Country Team Qualifies for NCAAs!

Hillsdale College has never sent as many cross country runners to the NCAA championships as it will this year.

Thanks to the great efforts of the men's cross country team.

For the first time in school history , both the Charger men's and women's teams qualified for the NCAA Division II championships as a result of their performance at Saturday's Midwest Regionals, held in Evansville, Indiana. The men's team finished fourth overall with a score of 130 points.

Grand Valley State won the meet with 45 points, followed by host Southern Indiana's 99 points. Saginaw Valley State took third with 110 points.

Junior Anthony Wondaal finished in seventh place with a time of 30:37.73 and senior Caleb Gatchell took 11th with a time of 30:53.92. Senior Joseph Newcomb ran a 31:03.66 to take 16th place.

Freshman Joseph Humes took 35th with a time of 31:40.50. Junior Luke Daigneault ran a time of 32:09.65 and sophomore Nick Fiene followed at 32:13.10. Junior Nathan Jones finished with a time of 32:29.46.
