The Charger men's tennis team dropped a pair of 9-0 matches on the road over the weekend to teams from west Michigan.
Several matches across the singles and doubles flights were hotly contested, but the Chargers came up short in each of them against strong, established and undefeated programs.
Justin Hyman lost a third-set tiebreaker 11-9 against GVSU, and teamed with Dugan Delp in a close 9-8 loss to the Lakers at No. 1 doubles.
The No. 1 doubles match against Ferris State was also tightly played, with Delp and Hyman losing 9-7. The Bulldogs are ranked #1 in the Midwest Region.
