Men's Tennis Notches 6th Win of Season

In reaching the .500 mark, the Hillsdale College men's tennis team is showing consistent improvement.

The Chargers stormed past Kutztown 8-1 in South Carolina Wednesday evening, improving their record to 6-6 on the season.

All of Hillsdale's singles wins - five in all - came in straight sets, while the three doubles teams won their matches by a combined score of 24-11, one of Hillsdale's most dominant performances of the season.

Justin Hyman rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, then teamed up with Charlie Adams for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles.

Milan Mirkovic was also a double winner Wednesday, taking a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles, then an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles along with partner Dugan Delp

Delp was a solo winner as well, with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles. 

Julien Clouette and John Ciraci teamed up for an 8-5 win at No. 3 singles. Individually, Ciraci was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 5 singles, and Clouette earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles.
