Sunday saw another dominant performance by the Hillsdale College men's tennis team.
The Chargers blanked Lake Superior State 9-0 in a match played in the Margot V. Biermann Center. Hillsdale's sixth straight win made it 9-6 overall and 2-2 in the GLIAC.
All of the Chargers' wins in the singles flights came in straight-set fashion. No. 1 singles player Justin Hyman had the closest set of the day, winning the first 7-5 before cruising to a 6-0 win in the second set in his singles match.
Freshman Charlie Adams polished off a perfect week with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles, and teamed up with Hyman on an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles.
Milan Mirkovic put together a great performance at No. 3 singles, tossing a 6-0, 6-0 shutout. He and Julien Clouette were 8-1 winners at No. 3 doubles as well. Clouette won his singles match by nearly a shutout, 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 6 flight.
Dugan Delp also won via shutout, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and his partner John Ciraci won by a 6-2, 6-0 score at No. 5 singles. Together, they teamed up for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
