Home Course - Defended

Results

The Hillsdale College men's cross country team defended its home course against Lake Superior State University and Northwood University, winning the Hillsdale Invitational by a five-point margin. The team had to stay mentally strong after a 30-minute weather delay, as they stood soaking wet on the start line, facing the long, daunting hill ahead.

Junior Joey Humes led the race from the start, and finished first overall in 26:36.8.

Taking third and fourth place was sophomore Mark Miller and senior Eli Poth. The two finished in 27:03.0 and 27:41.3, respectively.

Sophomore Jack Shelley broke up a pack of Lake Superior State runners, coming in 7th place with a time of 29:04.5.

The next pair of Chargers was junior Alex Oquist (29:22.0) and sophomore Morgan Morrison (29:27.4), taking 10th and 11th place overall.

Junior Charles Holbrook finished in 16th overall, rounding out the Chargers, with a time of 31:12.2.
