Men's Tennis Stays Unbeaten in G-MAC After 9-0 Win Over Cedarville

The Charger men's tennis team further solidified its hold on first place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with a 9-0 win over Cedarville University Saturday afternoon at the Margot V. Biermann Center.

The victory makes Hillsdale 8-6 overall and 4-0 in G-MAC play.

All six singles matches were won in straight sets, while the scores of the three doubles matches added up to a 24-9 advantage for Hillsdale.

Milan Mirkovic was a 6-3, 6-3 winner at No. 1 singles. Charlie Adams kept up his winning ways at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-1, while Dugan Delp was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at No. 3 singles. John Ciraci took a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 4 singles. Michael Szabo worked quickly to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles, while freshman Gabe Katz took home a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.

Ciraci and Delp were the team's No. 1 doubles combo and were 8-4 winners. Szabo teamed up with Adams for the first time this season, and they joined forces for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles. Julien Clouette and Mirkovic won an 8-3 decision at No. 3 doubles for Hillsdale.
