Charger football team participates in Wreaths Across America cleanup program

On Saturday, March 7 over 70 Hillsdale College football players participated in the Wreaths Across America "Wreath Retirement" program at Oak Grove and Lakeview Cemetaries in Hillsdale County.

Wreaths Across America works to decorate the graves of veterans who served in the US Military with wreaths every December. As winter turns to spring, those wreaths need to be cleaned up. The Hillsdale football program provided service doing just that, removing and safely disposing of over 1,600 wreaths that decorated the graves of veterans over the winter.

This is the third consecutive year the Hillsdale College football team has performed this act of patriotism and community service.
