On Friday, March 27, Hillsdale College football players Jesse Medoza, Mason Moulton and Zac Affholter traveled to Mary Randall Preschool on the Hillsdale College campus, and spent time reading a storybook to a class at the preschool.

Mendoza, Moulton and Affholter are the latest among a large group of student-athletes who participate in the Hillsdale College athletic department's reading program with local area schools. Athletes travel to preschools and elementary schools across Hillsdale County throughout the year to read to kids in the community. The volunteer effort helps promote literacy and models positive reading behavior to area children from a young age. The program has been in place for several years now, and Hillsdale College athletes will continue to travel to area schools to take part in it through the end of the school year.
