One of the surprise teams in GLIAC women's tennis this season has been Walsh University, who came to Hillsdale Friday afternoon and defeated the Chargers 6-3.
Hillsdale fell to 5-6 with the loss, while Walsh stayed in contention for a high seed in the conference tournament with a 9-3 overall record. Hillsdale plays at home throughout this weekend, hosting Lake Erie College at 10 a.m. Saturday and Malone University at 1 p.m. Sunday.
