2025-26 NCAA DII ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams
The Hillsdale College women's tennis team continues to excel in the classroom as well as on the court, earning both ITA Scholar-Athlete and All-Academic Team honors as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.
Three Charger athletes achieved a 3.5 or better GPA for the 2025-26 school year and received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, including two repeat honorees. Senior
Isabella Spinazze received the distinction for the third straight year, finishing her career at Hillsdale well with another great performance in the classroom. She was joined in receiving the award by sophomore
Briana Rees, who received recognition for the second season in a row.
Along with Spinazze and Rees, junior
Ane Dannhauser also earned her first ITA Scholar-Athlete honor with an excellent academic performance in 2025-26. The trio's success in the classroom was part of larger team success academically, as the program also exceeded the 3.2 cumulative GPA threshold necessary to earn All-Academic Team honors from the ITA. This marks the ninth time in 10 seasons the program has earned All-Academic honors.
In total, 649 NCAA DII women's student athletes and 95 programs were recognized by the ITA for the 2025-26 season.
