A long, tough weekend through some of the GLIAC's toughest venues wrapped up for the Hillsdale College tennis team Sunday afternoon.
The Chargers fell to 0-4 on the season with an 8-1 loss to Grand Valley State. Hillsdale has played four of the top five teams in the GLIAC - according to last year's standings - in the season's first four matchups. Hillsdale will play its home opener Friday afternoon against Ohio Dominican University. Hillsdale's four opponents thus far - Ferris State, Grand Valley State, Northwood and Wayne State - had a combined 2012 record of 76-23.
The lone winners for Hillsdale in this match were the Delp sisters, who were victorious at No. 1 doubles by an 8-3 score. Morgan and Sydney have a 3-1 record this season for the Chargers.
