Tiffin Topples Chargers

The Charger tennis team ran into one of the GLIAC's hottest teams Sunday afternoon at home.

Hillsdale College lost a 6-3 match to Tiffin University, improving the Dragons' record to 7-1 on the season. Hillsdale falls to 2-5 with the loss, ending the team's two-match winning streak.

Sophomore Sydney Delp was the only player on the team to win both her singles and doubles matches on the day. She eased her way to a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, and teamed up with her sister Morgan Delp for an 8-0 thrashing at No. 1 doubles.

Sophomore Lindsay Peirce was also victorious, coming back from a tough first set to post a 1-6, 6-3, 6-0 win at the No. 4 singles matchup.
