The best was saved for last for the Hillsdale College women's tennis team.

The Chargers finished out the fall portion of its schedule with a matchup against the top team in the GLIAC, Wayne State University. The Warriors posted an 8-1 win over the Chargers Tuesday afternoon in Detroit. Hillsdale finishes the fall with a 3-9 record, and will return to action in February, when it will compete in a handful of matches during the spring half of its season.

Junior Lindsay Peirce, who enjoyed an excellent fall season, was Hillsdale's lone winner, winning by a score of 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Peirce showed improvement over the course of the fall season, finishing with an 8-4 record in both singles and doubles.
