A number of lenghty matches highlighted Sunday's women's tennis match between Hillsdale College and Michigan tech University at the Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center.

The Huskies were able to win three sets that required tiebreakers to help them win a 7-2 decision over the Chargers. Hillsdale is now 3-6 overall and in the GLIAC this season.

Hillsdale won one match at singles and one at doubles. Rachel Blaauw was victorious at No. 6 singles in a 6-3, 6-4 decision.

The No. 2 doubles team of Dana Grace Buck and Lindsay Peirce teamed up for an 8-5 victory. That pair has enjoyed an outstanding season, compiling an 8-1 record.

The Chargers will host Northwood and Saginaw Valley State next weekend.
