The Hillsdale College women's tennis team moved indoors during Sunday's rain, but it didn't help the team to a win against Ferris State University.
The powerful Bulldogs won a 7-2 decision from the Chargers in a match played inside the Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center. Hillsdale is now 2-5 on the season, while FSU is 5-2.
The Bulldogs won an intense match at No. 1 doubles over Morgan and Sydney Delp 8-5. Hillsdale's No. 3 doubles team (Rachel Blaauw and Jada Bissett) lost by an identical score.
The No. 2 doubles combo of Lindsay Peirce and Dana Grace Buck won a dramatic 9-7 decision in their flight. Peirce brought home another exciting win at No. 3 singles, winning 7-6 (4) and 7-6 (5).
