Tennis Team Bids Goodbye to Old Courts in Winning Fashion

New outdoor tennis courts are under construction at Hillsdale College and will be ready for the Chargers in the fall. The 2014-15 Charger women's team played one last time at the current outdoor courts and sent them out in fine fashion.

Hillsdale blanked visiting Concorida University 9-0 Saturday afternoon to improve to 5-10 on the season and 2-1 in the spring.

The Chargers' three doubles teams lost a total of one game between them. The Delp sisters, Morgan and Sydney were 8-0 winners, as were Jada Bissett and Rachel Blaauw at No. 3 doubles. Dana Grace Buck and Lindsay Peirce took home an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.

Peirce, Buck and Morgan Delp each won their singles matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Sydney Delp was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 3 singles, while Bissett won her two sets by identical 6-1 scores. Amberley Bailey won the most decisive match of her career, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
