The Hillsdale College women's tennis team lost a tightly played match to Davenport University 5-4 Friday night in Jackson.

The Chargers were victorious in the top two doubles flights. The No. 1 doubles team of Morgan and Sydney Delp were 8-4 winners. At No. 2 doubles, Lindsay Peirce and Dana Grace Buck also won by a score of 8-4.

In singles competition, Sydney Delp earned a 7-6, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles. At No. 5 singles, Jada Bissett came back from a 6-1 loss in the first set to post a 1-6, 7-5, 7-6 victory.

Hillsdale wraps up the 2014-15 season Saturday against Aquinas.
