The Hillsdale College women's tennis team ran into the conference-leading and undefeated Northwood University Timberwolves Saturday afternoon.

The T'Wolves came away with an 8-1 win over the Chargers to improve to 10-0 on the season, while Hillsdale fell to 4-5.

The Chargers' lone winner was No. 1 singles player Halle Hyman, who kept up her red-hot play of late. She won a three-set decision 4-6, 6-2, 10-4. Hyman has won four of her last five matches at the top singles flight, beating players from the top three teams in the conference. She's showing the GLIAC the kind of stuff that made her the conference freshman of the year in 2015.

Hillsdale plays its final home match of the season Sunday when it hosts Saginaw Valley State for Senior Day.
