Charger Women's Tennis Team Beats Huntington

Playing the first of its two spring season matches, the Hillsdale College women's tennis team was victorious Saturday afternoon, defeating Huntington 7-2 at the Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center.

The team's two seniors, Dana Grace Buck and Jada Bissett were winners in their final home match, taking an 8-1 decision at No. 2 doubles.

Freshman Katie Bell and sophomore Corinne Prost picked up an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles. Prost also breezed to a singles win, 6-1, 6-2.

Freshman Kamryn Matthews picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles, while sophomore Julia Formentin picked up a 6-0, 6-0 shutout victory at No. 5 singles.
