The most decisive win posted by a Hillsdale College women's basketball team in more than a decade highlighted a day where the program honored its four seniors on Senior Day.

Five players scored in double figures and two hit career-highs in scoring as the Chargers posted a 103-37 win over the Ohio Valley University Fighting Scots Saturday afternoon in Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena.

The win moves Hillsdale into fifth place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and makes it 16-9 overall and 14-7 in conference play.

The Fighting Scots entered the game with just five healthy players, a situation rarely seen in college basketball. Hillsdale coach Matt Fritsche coached his team accordingly, holding the ball for long possessions as the game wore on.

The Chargers scored the game's first 14 points and led 52-11 at halftime. With a final margin of victory of 66 points, all the team statistics broke down as one would expect. OVU shot 25.5 percent from the field and 22 percent on 3-point shots, compared to Hillsdale's percentages of 55.4 and 40.5, respectively. Hillsdale outrebounded Ohio Valley 60-16 and had a 50-12 edge on points in the paint.

Senior forward Jessica De Gree got her first start of the season and made the most of it, scoring a career-high 25 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the floor. She made numerous good cuts to the basket and converted on-point passes from her teammates. De Gree also posted 7 rebounds and had 2 steals.

Hillsdale had a season-high 29 assists on its 41 made field goals. Out of 32 missed baskets, the Chargers grabbed 21 offensive rebounds.

Junior Hunter Stevens came off the bench to also set a new career-high in scoring with 14 points, hitting 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point territory.

Sophomore Sydney Anderson had 13 points, making three 3-point field goals, and sophomore Julia Wacker had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes. Freshman guard Jaycie Burger came within triple double territory, scoring 10 points to go along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds in the win.

Redshirt-freshman Amaka Chikwe had 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and sophomore Bree Porter had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Hillsdale's usual starting five of Makenna Ott, Brittany Gray, Allie Dewire, Allie Dittmer and Maddy Reed played a combined total of 29 minutes in the contest.
