Hillsdale beaten by Tiffin, 4-0, in road match

A tough road weekend came to a close for the Hillsdale College women's tennis team on Saturday, as the Chargers fell to G-MAC title contender Tiffin 4-0.

While Hillsdale didn't pick up a point, the Chargers were competitive, getting a win at No. 3 doubles from the pairing of Libby McGivern and Isabella Spinazze, 6-2.

Freshman Briana Rees also was close to a victory in an unfinished match at No. 3 singles, tied 5-5 in the third set with the Dragons' Anaelle Lepinay when play was halted due to Tiffin clinching the victory.

The loss drops Hillsdale to 10-8 overall, 4-2 in G-MAC play. The Chargers return home next Saturday with another huge match against a G-MAC title contender in Northwood, as Hillsdale looks to crack the top three in the G-MAC standings with the tournament looming at the end of the regular season.
