2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Teams
As players on the court,
Emma Ruhlman and
Sydney Pnacek have contributed to four straight winning seasons for the Hillsdale College women's basketball team.Â
They've had a great four years off the court as well at Hillsdale, as evidenced by the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams released on Tuesday afternoon.
Ruhlman received her second Academic All-District honor to cap a strong final campaign, as she started all 27 of Hillsdale's games and led the team in rebounding with 6.8 per game, while also adding in a career high 196 points and also posting career bests in assists, blocks and steals. Long a strong free throw shooter, Ruhlman made 94.6% of her attempts from the line in 2025-26, setting a new Hillsdale women's basketball single-season record. Pnacek also played an important role for the Chargers off the bench in 2025-26, appearing in every single game and setting new career highs in rebounds, steals and assists.
Both players helped the Chargers qualify for the G-MAC Tournament for the fourth straight season.
The pair also excelled in the classroom. Ruhlman earned Hillsdale's President's Scholar-Athlete award for maintaining a 3.8 or better cumulative GPA, and is on track to graduate with honors this spring. Pnacek, who has an extra season of eligibility due to a redshirt year as a freshman, will return for the 2026-27 season and should graduate with honors as well the following spring in 2027.
