Full list of Hillsdale Academic All-Conference honorees for 2025-26
The Hillsdale College athletic department had a record-setting campaign in multiple ways during the 2025-26 school year, thanks in no small part to the success of student-athletes in the classroom.
Hillsdale posted a department-wide GPA of 3.47 on a 4.0 scale for the spring semester, surpassing the 3.38 GPA that Chargers student-athletes accomplished in the fall, and a high-water mark for Hillsdale student-athletes in the history of the department. For the full year, Hillsdale student athletes finished with an impressive 3.43 cumulative GPA. Hillsdale's men's basketball team posted the top GPA for the spring with a cumulative 3.77, with the volleyball team leading the women with a 3.71. Both men's basketball and volleyball tied for the highest cumulative GPA for the full school year with a mark of 3.69.
That overall performance allowed the Chargers to set another new department record in 2025-26, with a historic 189 student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference honors from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. That total surpasses the previous record of 186 Academic All-Conference honorees in 2021-22. To earn G-MAC Academic All-Conference honors, a student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, have completed one full academic year at the nominating institution and be an active member of an athletic team.
At least one athlete from all 14 of Hillsdale's NCAA-sponsored sports programs were represented on this year's list, and nearly half of all Chargers athletes -- 48.5% -- earned the honor for 2025-26. Hillsdale's football team led the way in raw numbers with 52 total honorees, while women's volleyball (86.7%), men's cross country (78.9%) and men's golf (75%) were tops in terms of percentage of their teams receiving the honor. All 14 of Hillsdale's teams had 40% or more of their roster earn Academic All-Conference honors, and 10 of the 14 had over half their roster earn the distinction.
