2025-26 All-G-MAC Women's Tennis Teams
After another excellent season, Hillsdale women's tennis players
Ane Dannhauser and
Briana Rees brought home some well-deserved hardware again on Thursday as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference handed out its postseason awards.
Both Dannhauser and Rees earned All-G-MAC honors once again, with Dannhauser taking home first-team All-G-MAC honors for the third straight season, and Rees earning a repeat second-team honor.
Dannhauser, a junior, spent almost all of the season nationally ranked in singles, with an impressive 21-7 record, and also was part of a nationally ranked doubles team with Rees, going 19-8. Playing exclusively at No. 1 singles and doubles, Dannhauser won three G-MAC Player of the Week awards, surpassed 100 match wins for her collegiate career, and became the first Charger women's tennis player in program history to reach the semifinal round of the top draw of the ITA Midwest Regional.
Rees, meanwhile, was a major part of that nationally-ranked No. 1 doubles team with Dannhauser, going 19-9 in doubles play, and also put up a 16-13 singles record playing against tough competition almost exclusively in the No. 2 singles spot in the lineup. The pair played a major role in a 6-3 G-MAC record and a fourth-place finish in the conference for the Chargers.
Both Dannhauser and Rees are slated to return for the 2026-27 season, and should form a strong nucleus for the Chargers along with talented sophomore and freshman classes as Hillsdale looks to contend for its first G-MAC title and NCAA Tournament berth since 2022.
