Men's Golf Team Concludes Fall Season 14th at GLIAC Championships

The Hillsdale College men's golf team finished out its first season back in varsity competition with a 14th-place finish at the 2014 GLIAC Men's Golf Championship, hosted at Georgetown, Kentucky.

Hillsdale's three-round score was 940, 32 strokes better than last-place Lake Erie College. Tiffin Univeristy won the tournament with a score of 856, followed by Malone, Grand Valley State, Lake Superior State and Wayne State.

Matt Chalberg was the team's low scorer, carding a three-round score of 222. His 70 on Friday was his best round of the season. He finished 30th overall.

Steve Sartore took second on the team with a 238, followed by Cole Benzing (242), Ben Meola (243) and Brad Mitzner (248).
