Golf Team Finishes Fall Strong

Results

The final event of the fall was cut short, but still successful for the Hillsdale College golf team.

The Trevecca Fall Invitational, originally scheduled to be played Monday and Tuesday in Nashville, was stopped after one day due to heavy rains that were remnants of Hurrican Patricia.

The well-balanced Chargers finished fourth at the invite with a total team score of 300. Host Trevecca Nazarene, a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, won the event with a score of 293, followed by Ashland (294) and Bellarmine (299).

All five Chargers had scores within six shots of one another, led by Peter Beneteau's 73, which was good for eighth overall. Henry Hitt followed with a round of 75, while Joe Pietila and Liam Purslowe carded identical scores of 76. Logan Kauffman rounded out the Charger field with a 79.
