Freshman Josh Davenport shot a career-low 69 in the first round of the Findlay Invite, held this week in Lexington, Kentucky. Davenport ended up leading Hillsdale, who finished tied for sixth at the event, with a two-round score of 144.

Davenport's two-round score ended up being even-par for the event, another sign that he's quickly becoming one of the Chargers' most valuable golfers.

Sutton Dunwoodie and Ryan Zetwick each improved their scores in round two compared to round one, with Dunwoodie finishing with a 154 and Zetwick with a 155.

Logan Anuszkiewicz was second on the team and tied for 17th overall with a 72-74--146, while lefty Henry Hitt shot a two-round score of 152.
